This update, Android 5.0 Lollipop is been rolled out OTA Over The Air in India and it would consume about 90MB of space. This update would bring the Material Design with UI of Lollipop, it also has the Samsung’s own interface named, TouchWiz which is skinned on top. This would bring changes to the notification panel, it would include the Guest mode. Add the Smart Lock for Android, improves the performance, give good battery life. The Galaxy S4 users who don’t want to wait for the update Over The Air can download them from the Samsung website. On its unofficial has both the firmware which is for Exynos and Snapdragon processor for the Galaxy S4 (GT-I9506).
This, 5.0 Lollipop would be the smartphone, third major updates received which comes after the Jelly Bean 4.2 and the Android KitKat 4.4. This phone was launched on March 2013. This Galaxy S4 came to India in April. It did run of Android Jelly Bean 4.4.2.
