The BlackBerry company launched a new smartphone at the Mobile Word Congress 2015. The BlackBerry company launched its first full touch screen range with the 4G LTE smartphone range. It is named as the BlackBerry Leap and it is tagged at $275 which would be roughly around Rs. 17,000. The company said this smartphone is a target to the young mobile professionals. This mobile would launched in April in the U.S.
This smartphone comes with the single SIM support and it would run on the company’s native BB10 which is the version 10.3.1 operating system. It would come with a 5 inch HD which is 720×1280 pixel of the screen resolution with the pixel density of 294 ppi.
This smartphone by BlackBerry is powered by the 1.5 GHz of the dual core Qualcomm and MSM 98960 SoC. It would include the 2GB of RAM and 16GB of the in built storage and it can be expanded up to 128GB with the microSD. It comes with a 8 Megapixel of the rear camera and 2 Megapixel of the front facing camera.
Its connectivity options are: WiFi, 4G, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth and FM radio. It comes with the non removable battery and is backed up 2800mAh. There is no official statement on the talk time and the stand by time.
