Huawei is not the new name when you talk about the connectivity devices like dongles and modem. The Chinese telecom company soon entered the Smartphone industry after making their connectivity devices a great success. The company introduced the Smartphones under the brand name Honor and mainly competed with the low-cost phones like Xiaomi and Gionee. The users have come up with the positive feedback about this phones till now and that has helped Huawei to enter the mid-cost segment with its new Huawei Honor 6 and Huawei Honor 6 plus phones.
Targeting the latest needs of the Smartphone users, the company has now come up with Honor 7 with three different variants that may mainly differ on the features like storage and connectivity. The basic model in Honor 7 comes with LTE radio and 16GB storage. Another model comes with standby LTE and dual SIM. The last flagship model in Honor 7 series comes with trio and 64GB storage.
These 3 variants have rest of the internal and external features same. The phone looks attractive with aluminum alloy exterior. The performance of the phone is backed by company’s peculiar 64 bit Kirin 935 chipset which has 2.2GHz frequency for Cortex-A53 cores and 1.5GHz frequency for the rest of four A53 cores. The 3GB RAM makes the performance better.
The main attraction of this phone is its camera which come 20-megapixel resolution and phase detection technology. The selfie trend is also well understood by this phone and it has provided substantial 8-megapixel camera in front. It takes only 0.1 second to focus on the subject. Other important features include fingerprint sensor which can also be used for online payments and other security reasons.
The phone that is already launched in China on 7th July, will soon enter Indian markets at the price of Rs.20,500. Whether this price is justified or not will be decided only after the feedback from firsthand users.
