Reports that were released by the IDC- International Data Corporation for the Q4 of 2014 found that the iBall company which took over the Samsung in the Indian market in the shipment terms. The iBall increased its shares year on year.
Where as Samsung lost its market share of Q4 2013 which dropped from 17.9% to 12.9%. The iBall which reports to have been overtaken by the Samsung, it rose from 4.5% of the share to15.6%.
The International Data Corporation reports that the iBall raise is backed by the Low cost products which are targeted at the consumers who are looking to have the entry level form factors.
This research firm, IDC says that the after the strong growth of the festive season that of the third quarter, it showed its growth in the fourth quarter in the Indian market as well. The records show that the shipments of 0.96 million units, that would be 3.6%of the quarter growth.
