Speculations are on about LG teaming up with Google to float the new Nexus handset in the market. These speculations took their course when Google announced a massive price cut on its Nexus 6. The price cut of Rs.10,000 announced on 32 GB and 64 GB variant by Flipkart was enough to understand that Google is ready with its new handset now. Though this speculations started way back, the main reason of concern was that which would be the company teaming up with Google to bring out the new Nexus handset and now it is quite clear that this new team will comprise of Google and LG. LG Nexus won’t be same as LG G4 and it believed that LG will come out with all new handset featuring 5.2 inch display. The phone would sport powerful 16 megapixel rear camera along with substantial 5 megapixel front camera.
The processor powering this phone would be six-core Snapdragon 808 processor provided by Qualcomm. The 2700 mAh battery pack would keep this phone working longer. The phone is still not officially announced and the specs are still under cover but the sources state that this phone would come in the variants like 64 GB and 128 GB.
Both these companies, Google and LG have not come up with any official confirmation but the current developments definitely indicate this. The details of operating system of the phone is not yet out but as Android M is already announced for August and it can be the next OS for Nexus. The popularity of Nexus 6 manufactured by Motorola was lower compared to Nexus 5 by LG and that can be the one reason for this new alliance.
