Lenovo A5000 launched in India


Lenovo announced the launch of its new smartphone, the Lenovo A5000 launched on Thursday in Russia. Few reports say that this smartphone has been launched in India as well. The Lenovo company is yet to give an official statement about the launch and the price details of this smartphone.

It is to note that, the new Lenovo A5000 handset is backed up with as large as 4000mAh battery. The company claims that it would give up to 17 hours of the talk time and up to 792 hours of the standby time on a 3G network. The company previously hinted that this smartphone might just support 3G and not 4G.


The company claims that this handset would support the Quick Charge feature which would allow the battery life to charge fully in 3 hours and 15 minutes charge time for 4 hours hours of the talk time. The new Lenovo A5000 is a dual SIM which is a Micro SIM and a regular SIM.

This handset runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat. It also features a 5 inch HD which is 720×1280 pixel of the screen resolution along with the IPS display and it offers the pixel density of 300ppi. The company also says that it has rain and splash proof screen protection.


This handset is powered by 1.3GHz quad core MmediaTek MT6583 processor. It features a 1GB of RAM and 8GB of the in built storage which can be expanded up to 32GB with the microSD, it features an 8 Megapixel of the rear camera auto focus and the LED flash and a 2 Megapixel of the in built camera.
