Microsoft launches the Office preview apps for Android


Microsoft previously launches the touch first preview version from the Office apps of Work, PowerPoint and Excel to the Windows 10 Mobile. On Tuesday, the Microsoft started testing the app for all the Android based smartphones. All the users using the Android mobiles should join the Microsoft Office community to see the preview of this version.


It is optimized for the touch and the Microsoft office app for the Android smartphones is designed to work on traveling as well. The company claims few key features for the users to experience.


While the user opens the app, they would be almost familiar with the navigation and the menu bar options which would be at the bottom of the screen for the users easy access. Few features like text and tables in the Excel, insertion of the charts is possible. The other feature is the user can comment, mark up and do track changes for the documents.


As of the reports by Microsoft, saving a document, a Work, Excel or the PowerPoint on the cloud is not a problem any more for the Office as it comes with the support for OneDrive, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint, Google Drive, Dropbox.
