The Microsoft company launched a new mid range smartphone on Wednesday. It is named as Microsoft Lumia 540. It comes with Dual SIM and is tagged at $150 which is roughly about Rs. 9,361. This handset would be out next month in India.
The company says that this smartphone runs on the Windows Phone 8.1, it also claims that it would be upgraded to Windows 10 which would be made available this year. Few of the specifications are: that this smartphone, Lumia 540 comes with a Dual SIM feature.
This handset has the 5 inch HD which is 720×1280 pixel of the screen resolution along with IPS LCD display. It also offers 294ppi of the pixel density. This handset is powered by the 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 200 processor.
It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of the in built storage it can be expanded up to 128GB of the microSD. It has an 8 Megapixel of the rear camera with the auto focus and LED flash it also has 5 Megapixel of the front facing camera.
Its connectivity options are: USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi included. This handset is backed up with 2200mAh battery. The company did not give any details about the talk time and the standby time.
