OnePlus has announced one more smartphone to its product portfolio under the model name Oneplus 2. This leading product from OnePlus was announced at VR event. The smartphone would flaunt 5.5 inch display with Full HD in-cell display with 1920 X 1080 pixels resolution. This new addition by OnePlus is backed by 64 bit Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor topped with Adreno 430 GPU. OnePlus 2 runs on Oxygen OS which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
On camera front, the phone has taken all efforts to make its primary camera powerful. It offers 13 MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Laser Auto Focus, and Dual LED Flash. The phone has taken into account certain user priorities like hardware toggle that allows the user to switch between the options like All Notifications, Priority Notifications, and No Notifications. For extra security, it also offers fingerprint scanner that works in combination with home button. The customizable capacitive buttons are provided by the company to make phone browsing easier.
OnePlus 2 has taken the style to the next level by offering removable back cover that can be further replaced by special style swap covers that offer black apricot, bamboo, Kevlar, and rosewood finish to the phone.
Company has come up with two storage variants that include 3 GB RAM and 16 GB storage variant at Rs.22,999. Another variant is 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage priced at Rs,24,999. The 64 GB version will enter Indian markets along with countries like EU, China, UK, and US from August 11 while the 16 GB version will be launched in later part of the year.
