Both the flagship smartphones carry various Microsoft apps like One drive, Skype, one Note and many more. Almost all the Samsung devices are equipped with these applications. In Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, Microsoft and Samsung have decided to upgrade the technology in the phones and have worked together to achieve success and enhance their relationship by launching Microsoft Edition of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
Recently Microsoft has announced the launch of Microsoft edition of its flagship smartphones, which are expected to be launched on April 21st 2017 and will be available at all Microsoft registered retail outlets. The company has already started the pre-booking of the flagship smartphones starting from march 30th. The official launch date of Samsung smartphones is 21st April but it is still uncertain that it will be available in Indian market from that day or not.
The company is all set to make customized version of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Microsoft edition. They also confirmed with Verge that the Microsoft customization will be applied on both the flagship models when they are unboxed and get connected with wi-fi. It is also confirmed that this customization will provide world class productivity experience to the users with Microsoft applications like Cortana, Outlook, office etc.
The company is also expected to add Cortana, a virtual assistant in the new models of Samsung galaxy, which will also allow user to gain access to three digital assistants, though it is possible that it can create complications later on.
