Samsung launches NX500, a 28Megapixel Camera.


On Thursday, the Samsung unveiled the latest and the mirrorless camera of the NX-series called the NX500. The NX500 is an upgrade of the Samsung’s NX300 which has a 28Megapixel APS-C-size BSI-CMOS sensor which has 4K recording for video. The company states that the NX500 would be available for $799.99 starting from March 2015 and it would come along with 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 Power Zoom ED OIS lens.


This camera would come with a 3 inch Super AMOLED touch screen and it cam also flip about 180 degrees, this would allow the users to take selfie with the amazing 28 Megapixel resolution. The company added DRIMeV which is the image processor inside the NX500 which it says that it is more faster than the previous one. Samsung claims that it can shoot UHD (4086X2160 pixel) video and also the video capturing which is compressed in H. 265 format. This camera can also shoot in RAW format.


It comes with the following features, it connects with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and also NFC for the direct photo sharing which can be connected to smartphones, tablets or even for computers. The company offers HDMI and also USB ports for this photo sharing and displaying using the cables. The new Samsung NX500 would be available in White, Black and Brown colors. It has the leather finish and it is somewhat similar to something that we saw with the samrtphones. The NX500 is about 120x64x43mm and it would weight about 370grams. The company claims that it would last 370 shots on a single charge.
