The Android One by Google was an initiative for the emerging markets, that last week it announced that it would expand its business beyond India and that would be Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. And with this announcement, the Symphony Mobiles on Monday launched the first Android One smartphone in Bangladesh, named as the Symphony Roar A50. It was earlier mentioned by the Google’s VP, Production Management.
It is priced at BDT 8,700 which would be approximately Rs. 7,000. The Symphony Roar A50 would come with a similar reference, with design and specifications that was described by the Google and it was seen on the Karbonn Sparkle V, Spice Dream Uno Android One handset launched in India.
The Symphony Roar A50 includes a 4.5 inch (480×854 pixel) IPS FWGA display. It would run on a 1.3 GHz quad core Media Tek processor. It gets a 1 GB of RAM. It comes with a 5 MP of rear camera with LED flash and 2 MP of front Facing camera. The Roar A50 has a 8 GB of inbuilt storage and it can be expanded to 32 GB with the microSD. Its connectivity gets on with the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GPRS, 3G. The life line to run a phone gets a 1780mAh battery.
