Xiaomi to hit the market after the Ban.


The Ban on Xiaomi was dramatic, and the smartphone is back on sale in India. The reprieve Xiaomi’s last week for handsets that is based on the Qualcomm chipset, today will see the Chinese smartphone manufacturer bring banned phone Redmi 1S back on sale again, as it was promised.


As before, the Redmi 1S would be available via a Flash sale on an Ecommerce website at just Rs. 5,999 and the registration for this would end soon. The Ecommerce website reiterates that it would sell only one phone per customer.


This Flash sale would kick start at 2pm, today IST. The Xiaomi will not reveal the number of units it will be selling, unline the pervious Flash sales of Xiaomi.


Just a flashback, the Xiaomi phone were banned in India, earlier this month as a complain filled by Ericsson. Following this, the Delhi High Court banned it. The Ericsson company claimed that the Xiaomi was infringing on its Standard Essential Patents (SEPs) and it refused to pay the licensing fees.
